This is a good stop on the Great Ocean Road halfway between Lorne and Apollo Bay. It's set against the beautiful backdrop of the Kennett river and Otway national park. The local beach is patrolled and popular with surfers. If you're lucky you may even be able to see some of the local whales, dolphins and seals.

| Plannbo | We always ended up here by accident as part of our trip along the Great Ocean Road. It's a great pit stop for people coming to and from Melbourne. It's a small park with just a couple of showers and toilets - we were there in a quiet period and it may well get a bit overcrowded at peak times. There's a good glowworm cavern nearby and we enjoyed a visit to the local Cape Otway Lighthouse. Spotted a few koalas in the wild as well! |
